Rebecca Casson offers an overview of the Victorian building and construction industry and how it has fared over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her discussion includes a snapshot of the role our industry plays as the backbone of the Victorian economy, the prolonged phase of restrictions that threatened to cripple it and the enormous cooperative advocacy effort it took to keep it productive and safe. She’ll also highlight government programs and taskforce activity that will help building and construction lead the state to economic recovery.
