David Lansdell
David Lansdell has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry with a variety of roles including working as national operations manager for Tier 1 to Tier 3 construction companies and clients.
He is currently engaged as specialist lead for the Queensland Government to develop the planning, design, and implementation of the Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) Housing Program within the context of rebuilding QBuild (A self-delivery capital, construction and maintenance company within the Department of Energy and Public Works).
Prior to this he had worked and led the delivery of the Youth Detention Program within QBuild, Design and Construction of the Gold Coast Airport Southern Terminal Expansion, Cairns Convention Centre Refurbishment, Brisbane Supreme Court & District Court, Fortitude Valley Station Refurbishment, Brisbane Airport Terminal Expansion and Gallery of Modern Art projects with Lendlease. David also commenced and completed the Legacy Way Tunnel and the Riparian Plaza projects in Brisbane as the detailed project lead.
David has managed all phases of multi-million-dollar construction projects for both government and private-sector clients, working within business leadership across a range of construction companies directly managing small and large teams, including multi-discipline design consultants, and onsite workforces of more than 600.
