Jamie Coe
Jamie is the Business Development Manager (BDM) at Hutchinson Builders, Australia’s largest privately-owned construction company.
Jamie came to ‘Hutchies’ in 2015, bringing almost 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. He started out as a Project Manager, combining his vast expertise in commercial and residential building, project management and team leadership, before progressing through the ranks to his current role.
As BDM, Jamie manages all client relationships, providing end-to-end leadership across the pre-construction phase – from initial budget estimates, to value and design management, right through to contract negotiation.
Jamie’s work spans all divisions of Hutchinson Builders, but he is particularly passionate about modular building. His strong management skills, technical knowledge and results-based approach have allowed him to take Hutchies’ modular division to a new level.
Presentation Overview
Hutchinson Builders is Australia’s largest privately-owned construction company. Over the last decade they have delivered almost $1 billion worth of modular product across the country, including their custom bathroom pods, specialist health clinics for the public and private sectors, a large format accommodation building in Karratha and Australia’s first CLT student accommodation development for UTAS in Launceston.
Jamie will profile the Hutchies modular business experience and then discuss a GenesisCare project with Jennifer Lavery from GenesisCare, including why modular was the best solution.
