Why Choose Us ?

Due to extreme Australian climate, homeowners are dealing with frequent and extreme weather events whether it's the bushfires of 'Black Summer', floods of 2021/22 or the seasonal tropical cyclones of QLD, NT and WA. Add to that timber eating termites and the odds really are stacked against us! However, at All Safe Habitats we are putting the odds back in our favour by providing affordable, pre-built modular habitats (to lock up stage) that are 'all safe'. Furthermore, we use Australian building materials which are fire, flood and moisture resistant, termite resistant and cyclone rated. We also ensure that our habitats are built by experienced qualified tradies to Australian Standards (AS/NZS) and the Building Code of Australia (BCA).

We use BlueScope Truecore steel for internal structural framing, protected by steel roofing, fascia and gutters plus BAL rated external cladding and Flooring Standard on Platinum turnkey habitats. Please note lockup ready packages are subject to an extra cost for BAL rated cladding and flooring. We can even upgrade to higher BAL ratings if you are in a bush fire prone area. This is so important in Australia with some areas being prone to bushfire attack.

As standard, our structural framing, roof battens and roofing is engineered and built for Region C (Cyclonic) as per AS/NZ 1170:2:2002. Please note: This comes standard on all Platinum turnkey habitats, if required for site on lockup habitats an extra fee is applicable. This is essential for north of the Fraser Coast (inclusive) in QLD, the top end of NT and North Carnarvon (inclusive) in WA. We can also engineer and build to Region D upon request.

To set your mind at ease, we do not use any timber or products containing cellulose that attract termites in the Platinum turnkey Habitats (excluding cavity slider frames and cupboards). Our building materials are steel, MGO or fibre cement based including the frame, battens, roofing, external cladding and flooring on the Platinum turnkey habitats. (Lockup package uses termite and moisture resistant H3 treated cladding and flooring is H2 moisture and termite treated).

Flooding and moisture ingress is one of the biggest destroyers of buildings and infrastructure in Australia so it's just not worth taking any risk. That is why the materials we use for roofing, framing, flooring, external cladding and internal cladding are not reactive to moisture, nor are compromised by water leakage. We do not use timber frame or floorboards on the platinum turnkey habitats. (Lockup package use termite and moisture resistant H3 treated cladding and flooring).

In addition to using Australian materials, certified to Australian Standards (AS/NZS), our habitats are only built by licensed, experienced and qualified Australian Tradies. This is why we display the Australian Made symbol and yes, we are fully Australian owned and operated.
