PART 1: Precision and Process
Presented by Simon Waldren
Our focus is the Prefabrication and Modularisation of Building Services so Mechanical - Electrical - Plumbing for construction.
Our link and crossover with the likes of CR Kennedy and TBS is the precision we all achieve through the design to manufacture processes. Our systems and products are managed and coordinated with pin-point accuracy and detail from data driven design inputs ( CR Kennedy) and through the interface with structural elements (TBS).
We will show how the data drives the process to precision products and manufacturing, ready for the site installation and integration.
PART 2: Being Install Ready
Presented by Tim Newman
Tim will speak about the importance of ensuring your site is ready to accept the premanufactured components. He will run through some projects showing what TBS has done to ensure what they make in the factory works on-site and touch on the digital workflow to get there.
PART 3: Digitalising Building Construction Processes
Presented by Bernie Edmonds
Industries across the spectrum, from utilities to transportation, are evolving to keep up with the pace of change driven by digital innovation. While some are being forced to change, others see the opportunity of embracing new technology to deliver efficiencies, cost savings or a better service.
Digitalising your construction process should be simple. With building construction solutions
from Leica Geosystems, CR Kennedy are helping the construction industry solve complex challenges with accurate easy-to-use instruments, and intuitive software so you can confidently move from manual analogue practices to modern digital technology and significantly lower your operational costs without disrupting your current workflow.
Smart reality capture and digital layout solutions help you bridge the gap between traditional methods such as plumb bobs and tape to digital construction workflows saving time, eliminating rework, gaining productivity and enabling you to reap long-term rewards.
Meet the Speakers
Bernie Edmonds, CR Kennedy
An experienced National Product Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the survey, geospatial and building construction industries. Bernie has previously worked as s surveyor on construction projects in the UK and Australia and on many land development and civil projects throughout Australia and South East Asia. All these roles required strong collaboration with other professionals and trades such architects and engineers through to the plumbers, electricians and heavy machinery operators. Since leaving these hands on roles he has spent the last 20 years involved in supplying the survey and construction industries with the latest measuring equipment and solutions from Leica Geosystems. Bernie is a strong product management professional with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.App.Sc.) in Surveying from RMIT University
