Vere Longmore

Vere Longmore is a Senior Development Manager at Launch Housing, a Homelessness Services and Housing Provider in Metropolitan Melbourne.

Having led the delivery a first-of-its-kind community housing development in Melbourne’s West, using off-site prefabrication, Vere is able to provide key insights for developers to consider when taking on prefabrication and modular developments. Looking forward, he sees real potential in the time efficiencies prefabrication brings amidst a growing housing and homelessness crisis and sees key opportunities in regional Victoria to grow this development type.

Vere is currently Chair of the Victorian Branch of the Australasian Housing Institute, having previously served as Victorian and Oceania Chair of the Chartered Institute of Building.
