Dino Vrynios

Dino Vrynios is a registered Architect throughout Australia and the Managing Director of Das Studio, an award-winning team of Architects, Interior Designers and Landscape Architects based in Adelaide and Darwin.

Having completed his Master of Architecture in 2008, Dino has extensive experience in both large and small practice, delivering a wide range of project typologies of varying scale, cost and complexity, namely in the Education, Health, Defence, Arts, Tourism and Cultural sectors as well as numerous award-winning Residential projects.

Across his professional career, Dino has developed a particular passion for creating projects with purpose and enriching outcomes for his clients and the community. This mission to ‘make better’ has its roots in his time as the Jack Hobbs McConnell Travelling Fellow in Architecture in 2015 where he spent 12 months broadening his knowledge of advanced construction methodologies around the world, and in the time since, championing the implementation of prefabrication and manufacturing ideologies to create a smarter design and construction industry. This includes the 28-project modular schools program for the SA Department for Education, the $53m Mass Engineered Timber Tonsley Technical College and Factory of the Future initiative, and Yadu Health, a 2000m2 volumetric allied health facility in Ceduna for the far-west communities of South Australia to name but a few.

Thanks to his tireless efforts to create and realise positive change within South Australia and nationally, Dino has been recognised as an emerging professional and business leader. He was the recipient of the South Australian & National Emerging Architect Award by Australian Institute of Architects in 2021, Indaily’s 40 under 40 in 2020 and Resilient Business Leader award winner, and recipient of the Property Council's Future Leader award.

Further to his work in practice, Dino generously imparts his knowledge and energy through a number of Boards, Advisory Committees for local and state governments and his though-leadership platform Future Forum.
