We are proud to have David Chandler speaking at our inaugural prefabAUS conference.

David Chandler OAM is an independent industry adviser and advocate for Australia’s construction and housing industries. David is responsible for major projects in Australia and around the Pacific Rim, including Australia’s New Parliament House where he assumed the role of Construction Director.

David has numerous other senior executive positions in major construction companies in Australia and overseas NSW and served on numerous industry organisation executive and policy committees.

He was awarded an Order of Australia Medal for services to the construction industry and was a fellow of both the Australian Institutes of Building and Engineers Australia.

Through his website www.constructionedge.com.au David conducts wide-ranging conversations about Australia’s construction future. David advocates the need for a national agenda for the construction industry leading up to 2023 and seeks to broaden public discussion about the importance of a productive and innovative construction industry.

During the conference David will introduce innovative ideas and consider what a reconfigured construction industry might look like in his presentation Over-coming the disaggregation of Australia’s construction performances.
