ACIF 2021-22 Budget Summary for the Construction Industry

Here is the ACIF’s summary of the Treasurer’s speech and Budget Paper No.1 in the 2021-22 Budget Papers relevant to the Australian construction industry. All text and graphics are taken directly from these publications.

Overall, it seems like quite a positive budget for the construction industry, Australia was in a strong financial position prior to the pandemic, has had better economic growth than the G7 countries during the pandemic, and so as a result is in a better position leading out.
