Registration Terms & Conditions
VOLUNTARY CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Cancellation of a registration must be advised via email to info@prefabaus.org.au. Verbal changes or cancellation cannot be accepted.
Should you decide to voluntarily cancel your registration, the following will apply from the date of receipt of the written notification:
On or before 31 July 2024
50% refund less an administration fee of $110 including GST
On or after 1 August 2024
No refund available
The refund will be returned via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds.
No refund will be made on or after 1 August however, an alternative delegate name may be provided in writing and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly.
Where there are extenuating circumstances a refund outside of these terms may be considered by and at the discretion of prefabAUS.
MEDICAL RELATED ALTERATIONS
prefabAUS requests if at the time of the Conference you have tested positive with coronavirus (COVID-19), please do not attend the Conference.
A partial refund may be provided at the discretion of the prefabAUS, however you may be asked to provide additional details and/or a medical certificate from a health care professional.
The maximum liability of prefabAUS under these Terms and Conditions is limited to the cost of your Conference registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other associated costs.
The above Medical Related Alterations policy will also be applicable should there be changes in your organisation’s protocols regarding event attendance.
CONFERENCE ALTERATION, CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT
prefabAUS may alter, cancel or postpone due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God, terrorism, war, strikes or industrial action, fire, explosion, inevitable accident, breakdown of property, changes in law, or pandemics or global health crises. Due to the nature of the event, it may be reasonable to postpone the event to a later date and/or change the location for the Conference.
In the first instance, where prefabAUS deems it will be able to successfully deliver a fully virtual conference all in person registrations will be automatically transferred to digital registration type and the registration fee difference will be refunded (where applicable).
In the event of postponement of the Conference, if, when requested, you advise that are willing to attend the rescheduled Conference, prefabAUS will transfer the registration and guarantee the same conditions and equivalent registration entitlements (subject to reasonable modification and availability) at the rescheduled event. If, at a later date, you then choose not to attend the rescheduled Conference, prefabAUS will not be required to refund any part of the Conference registration fee. If you advise within seven (7) days of the postponement notice, you are unable to attend the postponed Conference you will receive a full refund.
In the event, prefabAUS decides to cancel the Conference, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount of the registration fee received.
The maximum liability of prefabAUS under these Terms and Conditions is limited to a refund of the Conference registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other associated costs.
COVID-19 COMPLIANCE
All participants at the Conference will be required to comply with the COVID Safety Guidelines and protocols in place with the venues and the Conference, which will be aligned and compliant with all relevant Government health advice at that time.
PRIOR TO ARRIVAL:
You will be provided with information on when and where to access entrance to the venue
You will be asked to ensure you have a printed copy of proof of your event registration or a digital copy on your phone or device to gain access to the venue
Note, the venue reserve the right to refuse entry to any persons who are disorderly, or display unlawful or offensive behaviour. Any person who causes a disturbance may be removed from the venue.
Insurance
Participants are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide insurance coverage. prefabAUS accepts no responsibility for any loss in this regard.
