Submission Extract: This project interrogates the balance between pragmatism and livability within the growing field of ephemeral architecture. The proposed exoskeleton spaceframe acts as a primary interface with the outside world in presenting the building’s character. Moreover, the flexibility of the building system allows for the module and floor plates to be configured according to the existing site conditions such as the building massing configured to retain existing tree canopies for a more sustainable driven solution that leaves minimal impact on the retired site.
