Submission Extract: We are currently at a junction where it is imperative that we design with the intent of net zero. With rising climate issues, it is the responsibility of the construction industry to lead in creating sustainable initiatives for construction. With the site on border of one of midlands most desired areas, this project will look at addressing issues of sustainable innovation while also tackling the crisis of affordable housing in Perth.

Due to the issues facing the surrounding area, the development will focus on housing for lower socio-economic communities, who are seen to be more at risk.
