The proposed facility excessively aims towards the aspect of sustainability in different perspectives.

Robust design scheme embraced with strategic design ideas of incorporating reuse materials, selecting materials that can be further reused at the end of building’s life cycle, deconstruction and adoptive re-use that effortlessly enhance the sustainability of the building; since the commencement of the design. A comparatively low embodied energy is available in the proposed building than a traditional, newly constructed building through the use of conventional approaches in design and construction. Utilizing reclaimed high cube shipping containers; majorly as dwelling units of building reflected the design idea and a response to required living - privacy. The porosity available in the proposed built form can be explained and considered as a robust feature that contributes to minimize operational cost of building through the support provided to naturally cool the solid built masses. Further, utilizing rainwater and renewable energy source of solar power for the building operation also aids to minimize the running cost of the building. A great flexibility is present to change the use of the building effortlessly at any considered time due to the flexibility of the building’s structure.
